A seasoned endurance athlete and one of the most experienced riders within Tshenolo Pro Cycling Team, Thokozani Mahlangu has spent more than two decades competing across South Africa and the African continent. From township racing circuits to international stage races, his journey through the sport has been defined by discipline, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to cycling.

Over the years, Thokozani has competed at major events including the Sharjah Tour, Tour du Rwanda, Tour du Benin, Panorama Tour, and Amashova, while also earning multiple podiums, KOM victories, and stage wins throughout his career. A six time Cape Epic finisher, he has built a reputation as a rider who combines endurance, tactical awareness, and experience under pressure.

In 2025, Thokozani delivered one of his strongest international performances at the Tour du Benin, finishing 4th overall against a highly competitive international field while consistently featuring near the front across multiple stages.

As part of the TPCT men’s team, Thokozani brings leadership, mentorship, and resilience to the squad, helping guide younger riders while continuing to compete with determination across demanding road and endurance events.
