Siyanda Gumede has rapidly established himself as one of the rising endurance riders within Tshenolo Pro Cycling Team, combining determination, climbing strength, and consistency across both road and marathon racing. Since beginning his competitive journey in 2017, he has continued to develop into a respected rider capable of performing across demanding South African racing conditions.

Originally from KwaZulu-Natal, Siyanda has competed in national and provincial events ranging from marathon racing to elite road competition, earning victories and podium finishes along the way. His performances at the Cape Epic Exxaro Jersey competition, Sabie Experience, Gauteng XCM Championships, and Rooiwal Valentine Cycle Challenge have highlighted both his endurance capabilities and tactical growth within the peloton.

In 2025, Siyanda secured victory at the Rooiwal Valentine Cycle Challenge while also delivering strong performances at Ride for Sight and the South African Cycling Championships. His ability to remain competitive across endurance and elite racing environments continues to strengthen his reputation as a developing force within the team.
